About Us
Our Mission
MusixTalkRadio.com is a dynamic digital radio station designed to elevate today’s independent music creators — placing them at the center of the conversation while surrounding them with the strategic support, knowledge, and credibility of music industry veterans.
Our platform champions fresh, untapped talent through exclusive radio interviews, live DJ sets, curated talk shows, and cultural commentary. But we don’t stop at exposure — we build career momentum by positioning legendary music veterans as allies, advisors, and amplifiers for the next generation of artists.
Through this model of creator-first content, veteran-powered support, and culture-driven commerce, MusixTalkRadio.com becomes more than a station — it’s a launchpad, a mentorship ecosystem, and a living archive of the music industry’s future, built by the voices shaping it now.
Veterans on our platform don’t just reflect on their past success — they lean in to support emerging creators through featured collaborations, behind-the-scenes mentorship, curated playlists, and co-branded campaigns. This role reversal empowers creators to lead the conversation while benefiting from real-world wisdom in a guided, growth-focused environment.
In tandem, our exclusive merchandise model gives these rising stars and industry contributors a shared space to generate revenue and strengthen brand identity. Featured artists co-create merch lines tied to their radio appearances, while the station drops limited-edition cultural apparel that reflects the sound and spirit of today’s independent wave.
Our Team
If MUSIXTALKRADIO has a heartbeat, it’s William Clark Turner, known across the airwaves and beyond as DJ Clark Turner. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, William came up in the vibrant ‘80s, a decade that shaped his sonic palette and instilled a lifelong appetite for everything funky, eclectic, and electric.
From day one, William was surrounded by rhythm and persuasion. As the eldest son of a seasoned pitchman responsible for the legendary STROH’S BEER national campaign, branding and promotion literally ran in his veins. Whether it was a jingle, a logo, or a club night flyer — William understood how to get attention and move the masses.
He cut his musical teeth on a diet of jazz, blues, hip hop, adult contemporary, and even classical music, fusing styles with a DJ’s instinct for harmony and contrast. From record shops in downtown Baltimore to dusty crates near the Mexican border, he’s been spinning, curating, and promoting long before algorithms got in the game.

Ask anyone from D.C. to Dallas and they’ll tell you: William was always the one making things happen — club events, mixtape drops, merch rollouts, or artist showcases. The man’s got “industry blood” and the grassroots hustle to match.
As Co-Host, Producer, and Artists’ Liaison at MUSIXTALKRADIO, William is the connective tissue between vision and execution. He works directly with artists to curate interviews, forge relationships, and elevate exposure. If you’re trying to get your voice heard or your record reviewed, William’s the first call to make. And trust — he’s got the ear to know what’s next before it drops.
Also a formidable EDM producer, William is currently riding buzz off his new collaboration with DJ Butter, merging Baltimore basslines with Motor City muscle. It’s fresh, it’s fearless, and it’s just the beginning.
Despite all his titles and talents, William doesn’t seek the spotlight — he engineers it for others. But make no mistake: when the time comes, we’ll be flipping the mic and putting him in the guest seat. There’s a story there, one worth every second of airtime.
Until then, he’ll keep doing what he does best: championing new voices, amplifying veteran ones, and making MUSIXTALKRADIO a space where music meets momentum.
Need a connect? Need a co-sign? Need your sound heard?
Talk to Clark.
Benito Childs is more than a radio host — he’s a living archive of funk, soul, and Bay Area musical history. Born in the late 1950s in Oakland, California, Benito’s first professional studio experience came at just 12 years old at Fantasy, Milestone & Prestige Records in Berkeley. Under the direction of Harvey Fuqua, he contributed to sessions for disco icon Sylvester — a formative moment that lit
his creative fire.
By 17, Benito was interning at KDIA Oakland under the legendary Billy Styles, The Wild Child, absorbing the flow of broadcast while performing in local bands. He collaborated with soon-to-be stars like Trey Lewd (son of George Clinton) and a teenage Dawn Robinson, who later co-founded En Vogue. The Bay Area at the time was a vibrant epicenter, and Benito was in the heart of it.

Raised in a home full of traveling musicians, he was mentored informally by veterans who dropped in between tours. He learned drums, keys, and vocals through lived experience, refining his sound in all-night jam sessions.
Later, Benito moved to Los Angeles, teaming with producers Daryl Clifton, John Bolivar, and Lloyd Tolbert to record what he calls “High Gloss Enamel” — a polished, unreleased track that remains a personal milestone. Realizing the business side mattered just as much, he pivoted into film finance, mentored by Ken McNerny at Nippon Credit Bank. He later raised capital for Universal Pictures’ Dream Weaver, produced by Candace & Christopher Gosch.
Benito coined his role as a Multi-Discipline Conceptualist — a creator at the intersection of music, business, and design. That vision evolved into MUSIXTALKRADIO, a rich digital platform blending interviews, visuals, merchandise, and movement. “This isn’t just a site,” he says. “It’s a living canvas.”
Today, Benito brings more than music to the mic — he brings depth. His interviews feel like cosmic conversations. His playlists have purpose. Guests trust him because he opens doors, not just topics.
He’s not just spinning records. He’s spinning stories.
And if you ask what’s next?
“You’ll hear it before I tell you.
